heritageB. Kathleen Gallagher, ISA CAPP is a Certified Appraiser of Personal Propery with the International Society of Appraisers with a specialty in Fine Arts. She began her appraisal career in 1999.  She has an MA in Modern Art, Connoisseurship and the History of the Art Market from Christie’s Education , a certificate in Connoisseurship and Appraisal Studies jointly offered by George Washington University and the American Society of Appraisers, an MBA with emphases in Marketing and Arts Management from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and an art history degree from The College of the Holy Cross.

Kathleen has complemented these certificate and degree programs with educational offerings from the American Society of Appraisers, the International Society of Appraisers, and Sotheby’s Institute.  These academic credentials are complemented by employment experience at the Smithsonian Institution, Butterfield’s, and Sotheby’s before forming Heritage Inventory and Appraisal Services, L.L.C. in 2000. 

Ms. Gallagher has offered classes to the community through the Arapahoe Community College.  She has presented to professional societies and her articles have been published in the Denver Business Journal.  Her achievements have been recognized with the following awards:

2006 - Committee of the Year (for which she served as co-Chair), Junior League of Denver

2006 - Marketing Award, The International Society of Appraisers

2003 - Teamwork and Leadership Award, Christie’s Education

1998-1999 - Student Leadership Grant, University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign
